Randall Fincke - President of Advent Medical Products in Massachusetts
A foremost innovator in the medical device market, Randall Fincke is engineering and developing new product solutions and applications with a team of engineers through his company Advent Medical Products, based in Burlington, Massachusetts. He focuses on improving the efficiency of patient treatments and outcomes that help to improve patient mobility, provide better patient visibility to enhance the quality of patient care, help to reduce costs and which can make a difference in patient treatments and outcomes. Randall Fincke had previously founded Cadent Medical, which designed and produced some compact and miniaturized medical devices that resulted in the company being sold to Cardiac Science for $22 million. Randall Fincke earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of New Hampshire and his master of science degree in engineering design from Tufts University. He began his career at ZOLL Medical, where he played an instrumental role in the design and development of three key products, the PD1200, PD1400, and PD1600 defibrillator models while ultimately obtaining patents and FDA approvals. After gaining significant experience with these products, he decided to further pursue the design and development of medical device products through the founding of Advent. Additionally, Mr. Fincke enjoys other interests including running, skiing, sailing, traveling, theatre, and along with his wife is also active in supporting other local and community efforts as well as fund raising events for children and recreational programs.
